The Big Dill Grill opened its doors on July 1, 2024 — a brand-new restaurant with an old-fashioned idea: feed people well and treat them like neighbors.

How It Started
Opened July 1, 2024. Still cooking.
On the first of July in 2024, the griddle came on at 2894 Lockhart Road and the Big Dill Grill was in business — breakfast at six, dinner till eight, six days a week.
We're not a chain. There's no corporate playbook hanging in the kitchen. There's a painted pickle in a cowboy hat named Rick, a dining room where folks wave at each other, and a menu built to send everybody home full.
Good Food Without the Fuss
From our grill to your table.
Biscuits made from scratch in the morning. Sauces and slaw made in-house. Burgers hand-patted, seafood hand-breaded, sides that taste like somebody's kitchen — because around here, they are.
You don't need a reservation, a dress code or a special occasion. Come as you are, order what sounds good, and don't be shy about asking for extra dilly sauce.

A brand-new restaurant doesn't make it on food alone — it makes it when Kershaw decides to claim it. And y'all have. From the first breakfast crowd to the weddings we've catered, from McBee to Lugoff and every table in between, the support has meant everything.
So we'll keep doing what we know: cook it fresh, serve it big, and treat every table like they've been coming in for years — because plenty of them have.
